Hi Tweets,
=20
I received this letter on one of the lists I subscribe to and thought =
you all may be able to help when you are out birding. Have a read and =
see if we can help this gentleman should we come across one.

Thanks=20

While I'm here, may I just ask if any of the goose observers on the east
coast states of the US could look out for banded Canada's?. We ringed
(banded) 125 Canadas in the Isunngua region of Kangerlussuaq
Western Greenland in July 1997. Most birds have a Yellow Darvic neck/leg
band, with the inscriptions
GAA to GAZ etc, GCA, - GCY etc., GDA - GDZ, GFA - GFZ, and finally GHA =
-
GHZ. Any info on the marked geese would be most welcome and all replies
will of course be acknowledged.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all list members a very =
Merry
Xmas and a Happy New Year.
