Hi Tweets,
Received another letter from the gentleman that was banding the Canada =
Geese with the alpha collars. Below is the reason for us to keep our =
eyes open for those birds. He writes:
I should have elaborated a bit more as to the project, infact we never =
imagined
ringing so many Canada's. Our objective was to ring Greenland
White-fronted Geese, but unlike the 1992 trip where we found/caught only =

Canada's, the influx into the region shows a massive invasion is taking
place. We took the opportunity and marked as many=20
as possible. They (Canada's) are clearly invading the traditional =
breeding
grounds of GWF's and it will help to know their origin. =20
