Joyce Meyer and I did another monthly survey of birds in Medina. We recorded
a total of 40 species from 0800-1055 on cloudy, cool morning. Sightings
include:

112 Canvasback
7 Common Goldeneye
2 American Goldfinch
3 Horned Grebe
2 Pied-billed Grebe
1 Red-necked Grebe
35 Western Grebe
2 Red-tailed Hawk
1 Belted Kingfisher (flying, so couldn't ID sex in early morning light)
2 Golden- and 1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet
9 Common Merganser
5 Hooded Merganser
3 Greater and 10 Lesser Scaup
365 American and 1 Eurasian Wigeon

Forecast for our ELWAS CBC tomorrow looks like it will be a wet one.
