Second, Thanks for the hints on getting the Little Gull at American Lake.
A Lifer for Elaine and a Washington State bird for me. Good Looks and,
perhaps most important as a relatively new birder, Elaine found the Little
Gull before I did. We sure have had plenty of practice looking at
Bonaparte's!!

Later, we tried for Pagodroma's Long-eared Owl but as the Brits Say,
"Dipped."
