On Dec 27 we had our CBC in Fort St. James. The highlights of the day
were our first ever California Gulls, 2 female Bufflehead and a female
Lesser Scaup on the lake. We also found a Great Grey Owl road kill. It
was a slow birding day -8c with threatening skys turning to snow late in
the afternoon. I checked the Necoslie River area which Included the dump
and sewage lagoons and a small part of the lake with the following
birds.

Downy Woodpecker 3
Hairy Woodpecker 4
