Subject: How to remember the tail shape of Sharp-shinned vs. Coopers

Hi Tweeters,

The way that I remember, which bird has the squarer tail and which has the
rounder tail, is:

Sharp-shinned begins with S therefore it has the square tail and the Cooper
Hawk has a round tail like a C.

Simplistic, YES, but it helps when you want a quick confirmation of which bird
has which tail.

Happy New Year and may it contain many bird sightings!

Great birding and find that next lifer!
