NOAA's address is 7600 Sand Point Way NE.

On Sand Point Way NE, heading north, it is the first driveway on the right
after the Naval Air Station.

If heading south on Sand Point Way NE, it is a few blocks south of the
blinking yellow light at the intersection of 95th and Sand Point Way NE.

The Metro bus system runs directly to the door of Building #3 - I believe
it's the 75 or 74.

Gates are open from 5am to 7pm. Please realize that this is government
property - act accordingly. When I worked there last, there were guards on
duty 24x7. Respect their wishes, be nice, explain politely what you're
doing, and there shouldn't be any problems.

The grounds are also reachable through Magnusson Park, but remember the
park closes at dusk.

The Sound Garden and the other works of art you may see are there because
of the 1% For Art monies.

I have seen a short-eared owl there many days when working there - I
believe it got quite used to me standing out in the field watching it, as
it began to hunt near me, and would even fly directly above me instead of
swerving as it did in the beginning. I love the eyes!
