Richard,

I heard and glimpsed it in a backyard (not visible from the street) along
the north side of Roosevelt NE just south of Thornton Creek and just north
of the intersection with NE 105th. There were maybe half dozen Steller's
about also. I heard nothing for about an hour and some, but then heard this
loud "yank" note mixed with the Steller's raspy "shaacks." From near the end
of the cul-de-sac north from 105th just east of Roosevelt I glimpsed two
Steller's and through a gap in a cedar hedge, a pale bellied jay-sized bird
with the others. I couldn't get it to come out by pishing though. Then it
shut up and I heard nothing more for the next 20 minutes until I had to
leave. Good luck.
