RE snow & ice on the 26th. I went over 1-90 & then hwy 26 on the day after
Christmas & I-90 from Ryegrass rest stop almost to Vantage & Hwy 26 up to
Royal City, except for the bottom parts near the river were covered with
freezing rain. Slick as could be. My 4WD Nissan pickum up danced more then I
enjoyed & I saw lots of fender benders from folks skidding on the ice they
couldn't see.

I guess we were lucky we stopped at Ryegrass or we would have been flying down
the hill & who knows where we would have landed.
