Hi Tweets,

An ABA member from Japan wrote to me asking where he could watch SURFBIRDS
in my area. If I think of my area as Puget sound, the Straight of Juan De
Fuca, San Juan Islands and the coast, the only place that I have seen
Surfbirds was 10\28\94 at Mystery Bay on Marrow Stone Isl. in Jefferson
County. I am sending him a partial copy of the Surfbird chapter in Dennis
Paulson's book "Shorebirds of the Pacific Northwest" along with a plug for
this very excellent book.
hopefully you will flood Tweeters with locations where Surfbirds can be seen.

Thank you
