Tweets,
Was birding in the Arboretum today and came across a little mixed flock of
kinglets, warblers, chickadees and a creeper. Among the warblers were 2
yellow-rumped (Audubon's) half in breeding plumage, 1 female townsend's
and to my suprise the female Black & White Warbler, it was near the
previous spot (about half way between the footbridge and the beginning of
the marsh trail, just before crossing under Hwy.520) all of the warblers
were in thje top of a madrone tree on the left side of the path. Never
imagined getting warbler neck in January, spring must becoming early.
