Hi Tweets,

Thank you to *everyone* who commented, both publicly and privately, about
the "all caps flame" issue, an issue that should have remained between
Donald Peterson and me. As Michael Price so graciously pointed out to me
in a private post, I am in equal breach of convention by publishing a
private reply publicly, without the knowledge or consent of the author.
I'm expecting that Donald follow an established convention of the List
(actually, an established convention on the Net itself), yet not holding
myself to the same standard of courteous conduct. For that, I apologize,
sincerely. I reacted emotionally to a personally-directed attack, although
it was one that seemed directed as much to the entire List as to me, with
the reference to "elite creeps" plural. Again, I'm sorry for my own
"breach of convention."

So, let's get back to Hawk Owls and Gyrfalcons and B&W Warblers and
Spring supposedly being on the way! Sheesh, it's barely February--it's
still too *chilly* to be spring.. :-)
