Starbucks is certainly not the only company that needs to know our
preferences. Unless I read the article wrong, it would seem that the
cheaper (in quality at least) coffees are the main culprits. It said that
shade grown coffee is of higher quality but won't produce the yields of
areas that have been cleared for the production of mass-yield coffee.
Thus I would like to believe that my preference for the more expensive
coffees may have a benefit.
