have seen some mighty good stuff out there..

The Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge is about 10 miles south
on Interstate 5.. just after you cross the Nisqually River (it
a steel bridge) get koff on the next exit..go to the traffic
light, turn right and go under the freeway..turn right again and
enter the Refuge..it's close to where you are and it's a good
place to bird.

Well, you won't get to play on the beach..it's off limits
one must stay on the designated trails..but, you do have some
good salt water environment..this area is a rare and wonderful
place..a real local treasure.
