Parrots, parakeets, whatever, were spotted yesterday at 12NE & NE 89th,
seattle, near the maple leaf reservoir. Saw 2, heard more, it was very
early and still quite dark.

Last year, we had two chickadee nestings but no bewick wren. Yesterday
i snuck home early, stepped out the back door and almost got knocked
off my feet by Mr Wren, singing, SHOUTING away. Then he went and
had a snack of suet under the feeders.

and i have great hope that the bushtits will nest in our big trees
again. It's so nice to come outside in the morning with this
sock hanging down chirping away.
