Earlier, we had several reports of Mountain CHickadees in the Will. Valley
and
many reports from different than usual places in Washington. I thought you
might like to know that, according to my latest Nebraska Ornith. Union
newsletter, that there has been a veritable invasion of this species ion
the Platte valley with bird being seen at feeders as far east as North
Platte, Nebraska. Several have been very regular in the upper elevations
near Scottsbluff as well. Seems an interesting year for this bird which
has been reported around here in interesting ways as well. RK
