Just south of Portland, I have had tons (how many siskins in a ton, I
wonder? - change that good numbers) of siskins and finches at my feeders.
I do offer both thistle and sunflower seed, which seems to really bring
siskins in winter. I've seen more Purple Finches than I have ever had at
one time also. This has been over the last two weeks or so.
