The King County Conservation District is sponsoring their 6th annual tree
and shrub sale Orders are bing taken until February 14 with pickup on Feb
28thand March 1st.

In addition the Northwest Flower and Garden Show is taking place at at the
Washington State Convention Center. There are a number of exhibits,
educational displays, seminars and commercial booths featuring native
plants.

Shameless plug: Take a look at the Zoo's "Cloud Forest" garden at the
Flower and Garden Show and pick up a two for one coupon for the zoo. Then
you can visit the zoo's backyard exhibit of plants to attract wildlife and
the Temperate Forest which also displays a variety of native plants.
