It was still around on Monday!! I watched it for a good 20 minutes while it
preened on a utility wire near the tennis courts on the EWU campus.
It was very alert and did not seem bothered by all the traffic
(pedestrian and auto!). I was watching from directly across the
street. What a great view!! :)

After it flew off, I decided to check out Turnbull's conditions
(which were very, very cold!) and watched 4 River Otters in the main
pool, playing in the open water and on the ice, then fishing. Then
the Bald Eagles present started swooping down on the feasting otters,
trying (unsuccessfully) to steal their fish! That was fun to watch!
