I can't say if there have been actual studies done, but if you're curious
I'll bet Fish & Wildlife have statistics. Any animal that comes into rehab
must be reported to Fish & Wildlife. We must provide information on the
injury, where it was found, the outcome, that kind of thing.

It would be my guess there's a database somewhere in the F&W system that
could detail auto vs. wildlife-type accidents.
