Susan,
On 5 Feb. we observed 8 Great Blue Herons standing within 10 feet of each other
at Sandy Beach in Whatcom Co. They were in the grass at the edge of a pond.
I have seen more that 8 GBHs at the same time but never so close together, other
than in a Rookery.
