One of you asked for information regarding this proposal. I hastily replied
that I thought it was dead, as it was back in December. At a hearing on
January 23, a number of bicyclists and Madison Park residents turned out to
support the project, thus reviving hopes that the Seattle Board of Park
Commisioners would recommend going forward with the project to parks
Superintendent Ken Bounds.

I support the creation of a pedestrian trail, but am not inclined to support
a bike trail. Wheels and feet are an awkward mix.
