Wanted to report the exciting news that spring is coming to eastern
Washington!

I just saw my first two Western Bluebirds this morning at around 9:45 am
North of Spokane off of Hiway 2 on Big Meadows Road. Along with them were
hundreds of American Robins in the fields. The first date I had for robins
in this area was Friday, Feb 14, but low numbers, unlike today. The
red-winged blackbirds are also piling up. I haven't seen any killdeer or
swallows yet. But I can now be sure there on their way.

Merry Spring -
