Hi
I was at Friday Harbor on San Juan Island last weekend. While waiting to
board the ferry to Anacortes, I saw hundreds to thousands of swallows flying
around and under the bridge that the cars drive over to get onto the ferry.
I assume that the birds were swallows. Does anyone know what species of
birds these are and do they remain at the ferry all year? They were very
noisy. Thanks for any help.
