Hi Tweeters:
I went on my first "real" birding adventure today and jsut got
back. The whole search was for a Snowy Owl in the Nisqually NWR. I hit
pay dirt!!! I got to see him from about 250-300 meters. I wish it
could have been closer, but, alas, no. The best part of seeing the
Snowy was pulling my head from a scope, looking up, and seeing a
wonderous Bald Eagle doing a fly-over. It was one of 3 adults and 1
immature eagles we saw.

Being a rookie at this, it is easy for me to add new birds to my
list. Today, I had the pleasure to find someone who knew what they were
looking at, and kind enough to tell me what I was looking at, also. I
added 16 birds to my list today. It was great!
