Yesterday at Nisqually I saw and heard a Ruby-crowned Kinglet starting
into its song. Sort of tentative, with little soft complex phrases,
but not quite there yet. Eagles and Owls notwithstanding, the Kinglet
'almost' singing was my highlight for the day.
