Hi Eileen,

The Yakima Valley Audubon Society is having their monthly meeting at the
Yakima Valley Museum at 20th and Tieton Drive this Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
You could ask Andy Stepniewski about the Burrowing Owl. He is by authority
in this area on the bird life.

My wife and I saw a Burrowing Owl just west of Othello on Dec. 28. I
thought that was quite an unusual sighting but Andy told me they have been
known to winter-over.
