This report was made at 8:45 p.m. February 25th.
For information on field trips or on conservation and education issues
call the Audubon office at 523-4483 from 10 to 4 Monday-Saturday.

If you have not already done so, this would be a good weekend to
dust off those hummingbird feeders.

Migration is not exactly raging, but there are reports of SAY'=92S PHOEBE=
S
and SAGE SPARROWS in Eastern Washington.

The NORTHERN HAWK OWL in Cheney was seen on the 25th. Generally
seen within two blocks of the stadium on the E.W.U. campus.

On the 24th, the SNOWY OWL was once again seen at 16th and Denny on
Capital Hill in Seattle across from Group Health Hospital.

On the 24th, a male RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD was reported at a feeder
in Seattle.

A GYRFALCON has been seen near the Snohomish Airport through
the 24th.=20

A TURKEY VULTURE was seen over 42nd Avenue S.. near Seward
Park on the 23rd.

Two WESTERN SCRUB-JAYS were found near Queen Anne
Hill in Seattle on the 23rd. The birds were together in a
large lot on the southeast corner of 13th Avenue W. and Bertona.

Also on the 23rd there was a ROSS' GOOSE on Shadow Lake, which is
about four or five miles south of Snohomish, just southeast of
the Kenwanda Golf Course.

Last weekend there were three WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS and
four AMERICAN TREE SPARROWS in the fields south of the boat
launch parking lot at the Skagit Game Range Headquarters. Rubber
boots are advised if venturing afield here.
