I'm planning a field season to Montana to look at chestnut-collared and
McCown's longspurs. I've got an equipment question that I thought some of
you might be able to offer some advice on: I need to find some sort of
freezer, probably gas-powered, that will keep blood samples at -20C
without electricity. Anyone know of such a thing? It could be quite
small (just need a couple of cubic feet of freezer space) but must be
reliable. Additionally we're looking for a little gas-powered generator
that could be fired up every now and then to power a centrifuge. And, if
anyone is familiar with the longspur populations of Montana, I'd love to
talk with you!
