Don Baccus is undoubtedly correct.

I do regularly see both Sharp Shinned and Cooper hawks in my neighborhood.
My incorrect conclusion that a migration was underway was triggered by
seeing three different birds in my front yard in two days.

So here's a question: Are hawks generally territorial? If you see a Sharp
Shinned hawk hunting near your bird feeder on a weekly basis what are the
chances it's the same hawk?
