The Washington BirdBox is a voice mailbox sponsored by the Washington
Ornithological Society. To leave a message about a notable sighting, or
to listen to the 12 most recent messages, call (206) 454-2662 and follow
the prompts. First-time BirdBox users may find it convenient, before
calling, to review the status of Washington's chickadee species.

5:54 p.m. February 25th - Hi. This is Dave Beaudette at 206-365-2083.
Today, February 25th, Snohomish County: saw the GOLDEN EAGLE at the
Everett city limits, along the Lowell-Larimer Road (Thomas Brothers Guide,
page 416); and in east King County today saw a WHITE-THROATED SPARROW
along the Snoqualmie Valley Trail just north of Stillwater. Park at the
Snoqualmie Valley Wildlife Area parking lot. From here, walk south along
the trail about one quarter mile to AT&T buried-cable post number 1128.
The white-throat was seen here, also four VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS overhead,
and also present a pair of PILEATED WOODPECKERS. Thank you.
