Bud Anderson (Falcon Research Group) tells an interesting story about
trapping, banding, and releasing sharpies from one particular
lady's back yard, apparently she was distressed by the dwindling
songbird population. Over the course of (I believe) several weeks,
he snagged at least 20 or 30 different sharpies. I'd guess every
sharp-shinned hawk in town knows about (and frequents) the really
good fast food fly-in's.....
