I had an immature Sharpy in my backyard on Tuesday afternoon which flew
through my laurel hedge in a pursuit of house sparrows. It took about 5
seconds for the bird to emerge from a shrub with about a diameter of four
feet. It then perched allowing close approach. Ray K
