Dear tweeters:
We saw a Cooper's Hawk and two Bald Eagles in their nest. The
Cooper's Hawk flew over us. We didn't see any Northern Harriers.

-Dara

Tweeters,
We saw a variety of waterfowl such as American Coot, Gadwall,
Bufflehead, and more. I was amazed at the amount of
red-winged Blackbirds that we saw. We also saw a Eagle nest with two
Eagles close by. Does anyone know if the their were Eaglets in the nest
last year?

-Marisa

Dear Tweeters:
We were walking on a gravel path along the slough and we saw
a plethora of Red-Winged Blackbirds flying all across the trees. This
was our first Marymoor trip of the year and we saw 17 species.

-John

Dear Tweeters:
As we walked along the path we spotted something in the air.
It was a Cooper's Hawk flying over us.

-Vafa

Dear Tweeters:
I had fun looking at the Gadwalls, they were very beautiful. The
Cooper's Hawk was a special treat since I hadn't seen one since last
school year. A good spotting was the Bald Eagle in the nest and one on a
nearby branch. My favorite spot of the day was when we saw the Cooper's Hawk

Dear Tweeters:
We were walking along the stream at the Marymoor dog walk when down the
stream came a female scaup, we were not able to identify between the two
local species and are wondering if it is Lesser or Greater. The obvious
white on the upper part of the bill was easy to see. Is one more common
in this area than another.
