Just yesterday, I had the opportunity to look at and listen to both the
Audubon and Thayer's CD Roms for North American birds. They were loaned to
me by Wild Birds Unlimited. I found that the sound quality was superior on
Thayer's, and their system seemed somewhat easier for me to use. They also
have a much larger list of birds than does Audubon; so that would definitely
be my choice. I have not seen the Peterson CD Rom, however, but would like to.
