International Crane Foundation boardmember, Tom Hoffman, currently
resides in Seattle, works as an international lawyer and leads eco-tours to
the Russian Far East and Cuba. The International Crane Foundation, located
in Baraboo, Wisconsin under the direction of George Archibald, is a center
for the study and preservation of the world's fifteen crane species, nine of
which are endangered. Tom will describe the whooping crane recovery program in
North Amercia, as well as the status of the Cuban sandhill, the red crown, the
white napped and the Siberian cranes.

Doors open at 6:30. Come early for new member orientation, Nature Shop
purchases, conservation issue displays and refreshments.
