The Pilchuck Audubon Society will be presenting a program entitled "The
Secret Life of the Great Blue Heron" at the monthly meeting Wednesday
January 15, 1997. Ann Eissinger, a biologist with Nahkeeta Northwest
and co-founder of the Wildlife Conservation Trust will present this
fascinating program. Ann has been studying these birds and developing a
conservation and stewardship plan for the Great Blue Heron in western
Washington. Ann will give a unique close-up view into the breeding colony,
the behavior and biology of the Great Blue Heron. Program meetings of the
Pilchuck Audubon Society are open to the public and all are welcome. The
program will be held in the Board/Training Room at the Snohomish PUD
Building, 2320 California Street, Everett. Call Ed Schulz at 206-259-6877
