Hi Lois,

I looked at the photos at your website. I realize that I am not nearly
as experienced a birder the people you have on your website with their
impressions
but thought I would offer a possible suggestion.

Have you considered one of the rosy finches? Perhaps this is an
aberrant
colorization of one of the darker rosy finch subspecies. That was my first
impression
from the photos. I hope you are able to solve your mystery. Please keep us
posted.
