Tweets,
Yesterday JIm Flynn, Steve Pink and I birded the skagit and Samish flats.
The final tally I believe (Jim correct me if I'm wrong_ was 82 species).
HIghlights were 3 White-throated Sparrows at the game range at Skagit,
Red-breasted SApsucker and Scrub jay at the feeder on Bayview-Edison RD.
The biggest highlight of all was a breathtaking view of a imm. gray phase
gryfalcon (also referred to as a brown phase) this bird was on
Bayview-Edison just South of Sullivan Rd. This bird had a mettalic leg
band on its left leg. Theview was so nice that we were able to roll
underneath the telephone pole where the bird was sitting and use Steve
Pink's sunroof to view the bird. Truly a magnificent sight!
