Driving in today I caught a brief snippet of a bird singing loudly from =
the brush near the Tacoma-Narrows airport. Wish I could say exactly =
what it was, but I only caught a little bit and my aural recognition =
abilities seem to atrophy each winter. I would guess either Song =
Sparrow or Bewick's Wren.

Whatever it was, it knocked my socks off. It made me realize how quiet =
it's been.
