Rough transcript of Seattle Audubon RBA for 22 January 1997.

Thank-you for calling Seattle Audubon'=92s Bird Sightings Hotline, this
is Leu Cocephala. This report was made at 4:40 p.m. January
22nd. =20

A RED-SHOULDERED HAWK has been seen through the 20th in
the vicinity of Three Crabs Road and Golden Sands Boulevard near
Sequim. It has been seen in a variety of trees, including Lombardy
Poplars, willows and evergreens. Also in this area, at the inter-
section of Three Crabs and Golden Sands, was a White-throated
Sparrow.
Other birds on the 20th include a banded GYRFALCON, 6 SNOWY
OWLS, and 3 SHORT-EARED OWLS near the Samish Island
Road 90 degree north turn.

Three WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS and a possible TREE
SPARROW were at the Skagit Game Range HQ Boat Launch
parking lot on the 19th. The TREE SPARROW was beyond the
initial group of sparrows at the end of the first field.

A San Juan trip on the 18th included ANCIENT and MARBLED=20
MURRELETS, ROCK SANDPIPERS, and a YELLOW-SHAFTED
FLICKER. At American Camp were 3 EURASIAN SKYLARKS.

A COMMON EIDER and a TUFTED DUCK are being seen in
