The juv brown-phase Gyr (banded on its left leg, last number "8") was
present again this morning, between 8.45 and 9.15 am, sitting on a
telegraph pole about 100 yards north of East 90. It then was then watched
stooping and taking a drake Bufflehead next to the road, before it flew
off into the gloom.
There were also two Peregrines - one on the pole two up the road from the
Gyr. Also one Snowy flew across the road.
Then the weather turned really bad...
