Heads up Tweets!

A Ross' Goose was seen yesterday and today in Auburn
(King Co) WA. It was first seen by Adele Freeland of Rainier Aud-
ubon and confirmed today between her, her husband Mark, and Roger
Orness who had a scope for looking at head and bill details.

The Goose is at the Clay Street marsh with Canada Geese.
It was seen at the north end of the marsh (where often lost to
sight) Friday the 24th and again Saturday the 25th at the south
end of the marsh where it could be seen much better.

The marsh can be reached by taking the 15th St NW exit off
Hwy 167 and going west. From the intersection of 15th NW and
West Valley Hwy go left (south) until you see Main St (1.5
to 2 miles?) Left (east) on Main back over Hwy 167 and take the
2nd left onto Clay Street. The sign designating Clay Street may
be rather hard to see. Up the road about 100 yards is a marsh
which was a mitigation site for Emerald Downs horse track. A
Great Egret was there around September...seems to be a spot
for vagrant, white birds. What next? Whooping Swan or Crane?
