Sorry about the glitch. I can't even claim dyslexia - I just left the =
word out.

"The survival of bobwhites in hunted coveys was significantly *lower* =
than in nonhunted coveys." Predation mortality on the hunted coveys =
were higher than on the nonhunted ones, as well. The survival was not =
just a matter of hunting mortality, but disturbance and predation were =
factors as well.
