These are common in spring, winter and fall. The winter birding is very good.

Brandt are common December - April

Common only during migration. It has always seemed to me that the beaches
around Fort Worden seem to have quite a few less shorebirds than many other
areas in the vicinity. This could be due to the intensity of use by
people, or have something to do with the beaches themselves (perhaps the
bluffs).
