About 6-12 months ago I remember hearing/reading the story of a St. Louis
birder named Phoebe Schnetzinger (Sp ?). While in the process of fighting
cancer she added thousands of birds to her life list. Does anyone remember
the source of the story (probably a birding publication)? Or know the facts
i.e., is she still alive, how many birds did she see, where she traveled,
how to spell her name?
