No, not if I have anything to do with it.

If you're at a loose end this weekend how about coming down to the
Fill to fight the good fight and liberate shorebirds from the
tyranny of that European invader which taxes the shorelines around
the central pond - revolutionary dress and muskets are optional :-)

The plants are a breeze to pull up and progress has been swift, so
far, with about 2/3 of the shoreline retaken after only a few
evenings work (with as many people as could be counted on the
fingers of the three-toed sloth - hint, hint).

Lots of cool stuff starting to show up in the last couple of days:

c.20 least sandpipers
3 western sandpipers
3-4 killdeer
2 spotted sandpipers
1 sora
1 green heron
3 willow flycatchers

The Scotch and foreign mercenaries will be there - unless it gets
too hot. However this time they are fighting on the right side. So
come on down - the water's, er, lovely !!!
