Subject: PNW spotted sandpiper diets

I'm working on a water quality project in the lower Duwamish and Elliott
Bay and am looking for specific information on diets of our regional
spotted sandpipers; I've seen plenty of general reference (insects,
crustacea, invertebrates,...) but hope to get more detailed information
if it is available.
Also of special interest (unrelated to the other project) are local
purple martin sightings. So far Shilshole has just the one pair.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!
