I'm going with my neighbor to the Rhythm & Blues fest in Winthrop this
weekend and I am hoping I can talk her into a brief birding stop or
sidetrip. Can anyone suggest an easily accessible (she's not the outdoor
type) site for mountain specialties around Winthrop or en route (I assume
the North Cascades pass). Many thanks!
