Sunday evening my son and I went fishing on Rattlesnake L which is a little
east of North Bend and south on 436th Ave SE to end of road. We started
fishing about 6:30pm and noticed two Osprey flying or perched near the lake.
Saw them make two dives and catch one fish. About 7:30 the light started to
fade on this cloudy day and the fish started feeding at the surface. The
Osprey then began flying lower over the water, about 15-20', looking for
fish. There were now three Osprey, I believe two adults and a juvenile, and
they were doing quite well. Their catching was a lot better than ours.
